Hello, this is Lotus and he is a very special horse. He is an 8 year old TWH who was pulled out of a abuse and neglect situation only to be pulled a second time by animal control and was headed to the slaughter house/auction. We have been working with him but we are only at the barn about once a week. I have recently lost my job (two weeks ago) and I am not stable financially. He takes a while to gain trust and needs someone who can work with him daily, not be in a rush, and someone who has an extremely gentle hand. He is gelded, negative coggins, and supposedly has current vaccines but I do not have the official documents yet I am trying to acquire them. If you are interested in meeting/adopting or even sponsoring this horse please message me. We would love to continue training him but at this point we do not want him to get in another bad situation and just want to do whats best for him. Here are a few pics of him currently and the last one is from the day he was pulled. He does pace/running walk but at times he does regular walk/trot/canter. We love this horse and he has come a long way but he has a even longer way to go. His board is currently 90 a month (lowest I know) he east 2 scoops sentinel feed a day plus hay.
