Hello to all.. I just got in after four very intense days of meetings. I sent around a posting last night about my meetings with the Feds and for some it worked and for others it didnt... My iPad was acting up and then I did it on my phone.. So I am re-posting it here for you to read.. It is great news! Well I gave up on my iPad so will try my phone. Still in Vanc. I was absolutely touched by all the support you sent me today for my big meeting. I was so stressed for the past couple of days that when it was all over I was pretty emotional. Chocked up actually! Any way the meeting could not have gone better. I met with two MPs that I know before hand and got a couple of hints. I presented my entire piece In just over the slotted time and went to 45 mins with Q&A. I made 3 definite asks and had their ear. Seriously! A number of supporters! Thats what happens when one is around long enough to make good contacts for the long term. So the ball is in their court except for the homework they gave me. I cannot tell you what we talked about and I gave my word on that. That is a good thing. To me that means it is being cosidered as an election issue. So for now trust me that I did go for the gold to meet all of our wishes. It went REALLY well! Now I have to meet with Clarks Chief of Staff on Feb 4th in Vic. He is going to be blown away! I invited Christy but she declined. Never a dull moment. Sorry that I cant share all just yet. Be patient. I am doing my best. Stay with me!!!!
