Hello to all from ICU (yes, still here). Chris had a difficult day. Reaction to steroids to control swelling also leaves him with severe hiccups. Not a whole lot of fun when youve had brain surgery. Hes going on 12 hours of hiccups. Hasnt slept much bc of this, but theyve taken him off the steroid. While it will increase swelling, it should (at some point) relieve the hiccups. He still smiles when I come in and has the best attitude! ! Dr. stated that MRI looked really good. We will continue to update. We are very tired, but we are going to make progress each day! Pray for him still. Long road of recovery ahead... So blessed we get to keep him!:)
