Hello to all members! I am thrilled to be a group member, as I am already a Seabourn aficionado, even if our first cruise ever (!) has not yet taken place :) We (me and my wife) have chosen Seabourn for three cruises already, as we fell in love with the entire concept from the very beginning... Our 1st cruise will be from 17th of January to 31st of January, 14 day Caribbean in extenso, aboard Seabourn Spirit - PoC = Bridgetown, Barbados. Our 2nd cruise - 1st to 8th of August, St. Petersburg and the Baltics, Seabourn Legend PoC Stockholm - Copenhagen. Our 3rd cruise - 4th of January 2016 - 22nd of March 2016 - 77 day Pacific exploration, aboard Seabourn Odyssey. QUESTION: Now, my kind request is - if any group members are joining the same cruise - Caribbean, I would like to get in touch before the cruise, to get acquainted, to assess potential synergies and interests, to get advices from more experienced cruisers, etc. In fact, as newbies (even if I understood that, due to small number of guests on Seabourn ships, the large family concept insures that friendships can be forged while on board), we would feel more comfortable knowing that we have some fellow travelers known before we set sail. We are a Romanian couple - 50 and 51 y.o. - and some of our hobbies are: - discussions on various topics (history, civilizations, world finance) - I am proficient in English, French, German, Italian and have basic notions of Spanish; - travel, obviously :) - Hi-end music equipment and audiophile recordings (vinyl); - Classical music (especially chamber music and German opera); old school jazz; blues; select RnB; ballads; select modern (Chicago House, vocal house, under 120 bpm); Business wise, I am involved in development and construction of solar parks in Romania (totaling 50 MW - quite a large capacity!) part as Country Manager, part as owner; also, I am specialized in Investment advisory.
