Hello to all my Amazing Family and Friends! For those of you who do not know or havent heard..... I have been off Facebook for awhile due to a very serious car accident. My two little ones (3 & 6 yrs old) survived a near Head On collision with a drunk driver doing 60 miles an hour, he never hit the brakes. We were knocked off and over a bridge, went airborne then rolled 3 to 4 times down a steep embankment before coming to rest. PRAISE GOD my precious babies were checked out at the hospital and released several hours later with only minor bumps and bruises. I on the other hand spent 5 days in the hospital. My pelvis is broken in 3 places, I also have a broken rib, rest are severely bruised and a lacerated spleen. I am home now but I have a very very long road ahead of me. This past week I met with my Ortho Surgeon and I am healing but my pelvic breaks are still quite evident and it will be a few more weeks before they began to fuse back together. Although it could be several weeks/months before I may walk again (without the aid of a walker), I am hopeful and am doing my best to stay positive. This new Journey Im on has already begun to make me a stronger person in Faith, for without Faith and my trust in the Good Lord above, my little ones and I wouldnt be here to enjoy this Beautiful Life weve been given! I am beyond thankful that my little ones and I survived such a horrific crash. It gives a whole new meaning to Jesus take the wheel. Our Heavenly Father, without a doubt, was riding along with us that day and I will be forever grateful he was there with us all the way!!! I cant thank everyone enough for all your kind words, thoughts, prayers, cards, letters, gifts, our meals....hope Ive covered everything. If I may ask though, please, please keep the prayers coming, my little ones are doing great but they too still have some healing to do. This New Normal is going to take some time getting used to and I couldnt have made it thus far without the loving care of my Awesome husband, Bill Lorber, my two precious little Boys, Austin and Ayden.....and all the Love and Support from my Wonderful Family and Friends!
