Hello to all of our members. This is a friendly reminder that our showjumping weekend is coming up on August 16th and 17th. I am extremely worried that we will not have enough helpers. On Sunday at our navigation ride, we had to call on 2 husbands who camped with their wives to help us as we did not have enough helpers. This saddens me as we are all striving towards building a fantastic arena surface at Malone Park, and we cannot achieve this without fundraising and running events, and we cant run events without volunteers. So this is a plea to make yourself available to help at our showjumping weekend, even if it is only for an hour or two, so the event runs smoothly. We need people to help set up on Friday afternoon, serve in the canteen over the weekend, gear check, pencil, pick up poles, gate stewards and pack up on Sunday afternoon. We will need slices and cakes for the canteen, and prizes for the raffle. So pretty please, help out your club by donating some of your time and effort to ensure that this event runs smoothly. We are a fairly large club now, so if we all chip in, this event will run like clockwork. Thanks in advance.
