Hello to all our family of supporters out there! We havent been - TopicsExpress

Hello to all our family of supporters out there! We havent been on in a while. Weve been so busy getting ready for his transition home, FINALLY! We finally have his date. Christian will be medically retired from the Marine Corp as of the 29th of November. We will be traveling home on November 24th and 25th, just in time for Thanksgiving which I feel is so appropriate. Please keep us in your prayers for a safe journey back to Tennessee. We are so thankful for the team of medical professionals here at Walter Reed that have prepared him for his transition home. I dont want to think about what it would have been like without them. His retirement is bittersweet. Obviously we are thrilled to be going home, but his career with the Marine Corp was cut way to short. You see, he was planning on being a lifer (as they call it). He was just getting started good when that fateful day put him on a different path. We now know God had a different plan. Christian is still working to find his way up and down the hills and around the bends of that path God has chosen for him. As his mother, I have no doubt that he will find his way through all the curves and over all the bumps that are on that path. I know all of you will continue to support him and cheer him along the way. We are so fortunate to have had all you guys behind us every step of the way. Let me tell you, it made all the difference in his recovery. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Also, to all the Marine Corp Staff at Lejeune and here at Walter Reed, thank you for helping me to encourage him every single day. I know at times it was very hard but I do appreciate you so much. To the endless list of non-profits, we couldnt have sustained everything that has happened in the past almost three years now without your help. We appreciate each and every one of you and will NEVER forget. To our friends here, we will miss you all dearly but this is not good-bye, just so long for a while... To our friends of our hometown of Munford Tennessee, we could not be from a more supportive community. We are SO proud to call you home. You guys have tirelessly supported us from day one. We love you
