Hello to all our lovely followers. As you are aware Ive had to do some pretty major adjustments in my life over the past 3 months since the passing of my darling Tas. I have deliberated long and hard over many decisions, shed many many tears and sought the advice of my loved ones. After thinking long and hard about it, I have made the very tough decision to no longer continue with the Teahouse. As im sure you can understand, I find it very difficult to be in the place that Tas and I built (literally!!) together and turned into what it is today. We had a vision and it came to fruition. I have taken the attitude that the Teahouse served its purpose for us - we got to spend so much time together and meet so many wonderful people. It gave us a distraction from the terrible battle we were going through and it gave Tas something to focus on during his toughest days. We had only been operating for just over 12 months when he was diagnosed and in October this year it will be 5 years since we opened. Wow! time flies. I will be closing the Teahouse on the 31st August. I am currently in discussions regarding leasing the Teahouse so hopefully it will only be a temporary closure. I hope you understand my need to concentrate now on my two beautiful girls and to spend some much needed time to grieve my loss without having so many other things to worry about each day.
