Hello to one & all. i do hope everyone is as well as possible today. i hope you are all better than that, but at the very least, i hope you are as well as possible. Let me first say i am terribly conflicted about what im posting here. ive decided i will post it, but only for two days, then ill remove it. This page/site is for Mike & Kathy & fans, etc. It seems wrong to me to use the page otherwise! The reason i am posting it? i need the help, & when i thought about it, i guessed Mike & Kathy may find it a worthy cause; they might care too & may not object. My hope is that someone will have a sure-fire suggestion or a new & possible idea. A lot of time has passed now. Here it is: winter 2007-2008: i moved from Portland, OR to Sioux Falls, S.D.. i used a moving company. i ended up with a box which did not belong to me. The moving company was unresponsive when i notified them. Eventually, i opened the box in the hopes of finding information that would help me return the box to its rightful owners. Inside, i found an urn! Despite numerous contact attempts (including sending a photo of the urn), the moving company never acknowledged my messages.The man in the urn is Earl S.Johnson Jr.(died Sept. 21,1996 in Baltimore). He was married to Ophelia. i tried contacting the Social Security Administration, tried sending a letter to the old address, sent a letter to a presumed friend of Ophelia after finding a card among the belongings in the box. i searched online for contact info. based on the names, took the urn to a funeral home, discovered the home that handled Earls cremation, only to find the funeral home has since closed. Earl was a college graduate, his certificate was in the box. Ophelia was drawing on Earls benefits to participate in a sleep study in Maryland. They had a child or children...i have discovered little else. i know not what to do but would very much like to see Earl returned to his family! Please, Kathy especially, please let me know if i have offended by posting this here. Again, i do plan to remove it within two days, but will remove it as immediately as possible if anyone objects! & again, i do apologize for posting this here at all. i dont feel great about using the page for this. Finally, thank you for reading & i will be incredibly grateful for any suggestions or help. Wouldnt it be great to get Earl back to his people?!
