Hello to our new likers! In case you didnt know we have an Open Day this Sunday 8th June as part of Open Farm Sunday. We have alpacas (1 baby born - 4 more due), miniature ponies, pigs (who stink), ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs and RSPCA rescue pony Buckthorn. We will be open from 11am-4pm and have home made cakes for sale with refreshments in our new barn. There will be an art exhibition from some local artists and we have some hand-stitched alpaca cards for sale (just in!) as well as yarn from our own baby alpacas and soft toys. There will be facepainting, nailpainting and glitter tattoos as well as a discovery trail for the kiddies with prizes sponsored by the NFU. Mark will be here again demonstrating what can be done with raw fleece and hell be spinning, needle felting, felting and weaving. We will have some bags of freshly shorn fleece for sale for anyone crafty. We had over 500 people to our last open day and probably cant cope with many more so if we get full we will have to close the gates Im afraid!! Entry is £5 per car or £1 per person on foot.
