Hello transplant friends. I have been blessed with my heart for over 13 years now. Which Im so thankful for every minute, no doubt. On a different note, Im writing about an issue Ive been dealing with for years. Almost every single night, once I stop for the day, my heart goes crazy. It skips a ton and races so fast, I can feel and hear it out of my ears. It prevents me from being able to relax and fall asleep at night. I try everything to get it to regulate. Of course as much as Im very thankful to feel it beating so strongly, this feeling is also unnerving at times. I know its common in the transplant world, and I know it has partly to do with the nerves being severed etc. I have read before, that some of you deal with this exact same thing. Those of you that experience the same sensation, have you found anything that helps, or prevents it? Thanks!
