Hello world of Caffenol - I have just run my first roll ever using this process, and the photo here is of the result, with some portraits processed in rodinal for comparison, on my lightbox. I used the Caffenol-C-L recipe from the Caffenol Cookbook, and let it stand for 70 minutes. The film is 400TX. Before I started I tested my soda in the oven to see if it was hydrated. The negs look OK at first glance, but Im used to a clearer film base - should I expect brown film? In any case Ill scan the film - its a test roll for a new camera.
