There had been some inter village fightings between two communities;Iselegu-Ndokwa East and Ibabu-Ndokwa west in Delta state. Soldiers and Policemen were deployed there. Arrests were made( but not fair). It became politicised. Elder men(great great grand fathers) whose ages range from 75(Mr. Michael Ogwu) to 92(Pa Orgborlu) were incarcerated . There came a biased arrangement by the police to squat the old Papas arrested from Ibabu with youg ones arrested from Iselegu inside one cell. Well meaning Deltites and Nigerians intervened before they were seperated. In the cell where Pa Orgborlu was detained, the 92 years old man was mandated to sleep on bare cement floor where he developed chronic pneumonaea and he was malfed. He died after about 2wks of his incarceration. The Police released his corps to the Ibabites and his 78 year old widow Mama Esther, died 2 days after Pa Orgborlus burial. Is this not as a result of deadly Ebola Virus pestilence? Now the soldiers had since left the two communities and the Iselegu people have all returned to their home but the police in(Obi-Ukpo)- Ibabu refused the Ibabites from harvesting their produce from their farms. Instead, the police themselves go to the various farms in Obi-Ukpo, harvest yam tubers, cassavah, plantains, pepper and sent to various wives in their various states! Now the indigens of Obi-Ukpo who were displaced by the police now and were denied access to their home land and farms, have resorted to go into the bush to hunt for BATS, MONKEYS, GRASS CUTTERS, PUCCUPINES, ANTELOPES etc as sources of proteins. So if there is a serious out-break of EBOLA DISEASE in DELTA state, the Commissioners for Health and Police should not deny it. I therefore, and as a Nigerian refused totally to use Late Patrick Sawyer and the rest, as the only index cases.
