Help! I am having a name dilemma with my current work in progress, UPON YOUR LOVE, which will be book three of the Heiresses in Love Series. This a secondary character. He is actually the heros best friend, but he plays an important role in the plot. From the time this book idea came to me a year or so ago, I have had an established name for him, Pierre Laroque. If youre familiar with the Heiresses in Love Series, then you may recognize the first name. This is the issue. Pierre was a name I used for the driver in UPON YOUR RETURN, the first book, and his name was used throughout the book. The same Pierre was mentioned as a driver twice in UPON YOUR HONOR. I really hate to recycle names so do any of you have any suggestions? It would have to be a French name for a male, or at least one that would be typically used in Victorian society in New Orleans. I would like to stick with a P name if possible, but it also depends on the character. He is a scholar, a quiet man actually so something wise would work too. As I am trying to avoid names Ive used before, I have the following I came across this morning: Mason, Patric, Paul, Sebastien. What do you all think? Can you help? #amwriting #writing #HeiressesinLove
