Help Needed....what a terrible start to a year its been for poor Oso...can you help?? Poor Oso was found advertised on Craigs List. Originally from a breeder at a really young age, his people got him and shortly found they were not competent to have him. They put him out on a chain in the yard. At one point, the poor pup went running full speed, was yanked back by the chain, hitting his head on a wall. Shortly after that, he had two seizures...and then his irresponsible people decided they had no interest in paying a vet to have him examined. Their answer? Advertise him to a free home on Craigs List! Luckily, a dedicated HT foster saw him, got him and brought him safely into HTs foster program. But Oso has had to have several tests done to determine if his seizures were a) due to him hitting his head; b) the result of him possibly ingesting pesticides when a neighbor was spraying his lawn while Oso was chained; or c) if Oso got sick from drinking water from a nearby pond that had also been treated with chemicals. UGH. This pup is only 5 months old...and already endured too much at the hands of irresponsible people. So far hes had no other seizure and is settling in. Hes very shy because he has been mistreated from a early age but hes learning the ropes from his foster siblings so we hope hell find a forever home soon. We need to raise funds to cover his vetting, testing and neuter...please help. We cannot take on special cases like Oso without donations!
