Help! This girl is already at the vet and it was discovered that she has a mummified puppy inside of her and will need surgery in the next day or two to remove the puppy. This condition could cause sepsis and death. We rescued her knowing she is blind, but this was a surprise. Sadly this girl was just bred and bred until she was of no use to her owners and they discarded her! Bichon Furkids wonderful volunteer, Marilyn took a giant portion of her day yesterday to evaluate, pull, and drive Tara, now named KANDEE to Irvine from South LA Shelter! Thank goodness she did. We will have a surgery estimate later today that I will post. Unfortunately, her eye specialist appointment will be postponed for this urgent surgery.
