Help Us Patch Up A Scout In Need! Will M., a Scout from New Brunswick, is in the hospital following an accident that took place after Tropical Storm Arthur blew through the Maritimes. Will was struck by a felled tree on his own property and suffered a crushed pelvis, a broken hip socket, a lacerated rectum, a broken rib, and a punctured lung. He has a significant road to recovery ahead of him with at least eight to ten weeks of complete bed rest. The Nova Scotia Scout Council has asked that those who wish to show Will some support send him patches and we want to help! If you have patches that youd like us to send to Will please mail or drop them off at the council office (411 Unquity Rd, Milton, MA 02186). Well package them up and send them out to Will along with wishes for a speedy recovery. If you know of another council that would like to join us in sending patches to Will, have them email Kim Kokkotos ([email protected]) and shell tell you how to get patches to the family.
