While in DSS waiting, I overheard a man talking to case worker about sleeping in his car with his dog. I told them the regular “excuse me do not want to be nosey, but maybe I can help” I explained temporary holding dog in foster care, getting him on his feet in a shelter. He is already Section 8 approved, just needs place that takes dog. After speaking to man, found out he is a Vietnam Veteran (I explained HUDVash) and services he will get. But, for today1st and foremost he needs a starter for his car so he can stay warm with his dog. So please help our newest Veteran #153. I have the starter on standby to be paid for.
