Help a Mom Out: She writes: My 30 year old son with Aspergers has what we call a bathroom problem. He doesnt take that long to do no. 2 but he takes several rolls & up to an hour or more to wipe himself. He insists it takes that long. He stops up the toilet many times & he likes to use public toilets so he gets complaints of course. He doesnt do this at home (a mixed blessing) so I dont see it but he tells me about it. He is distressed & keeps asking the doctors if he can take a medicine to stop going to the bathroom. I have had people tell me that there is toilet paper all over. He has had to leave one gym because of it. Hes on disability & I am trying to get services because he just moved here. Has anyone ever dealt with this? He has lots of problems but that is one of the most obvious. We are trying different meds but so far that doesnt seem to be affected. To me it just seems to be classic OCD, but it is so strange. Thanks for any suggestions or insight.
