Help needed here, peacock friends. We have an IB jeuvenile male, - TopicsExpress

Help needed here, peacock friends. We have an IB jeuvenile male, will be 2 this spring, just starting growing a train. He was in an enclosed pen with his sister, 2 IB males aprox 1& I/2 years, and a male and female IB chicks hatched in May. Also a Polish Crested rooster hatched in early May. They have had wormer mixed in feed (28% flight developer with MBD) free choice black oil sunflower seed, cracked corn, aforementioned flight developer and grit and water. About 2 weeks ago, I came out in the morning and this guy was hunkered down in the corner, head under wing, crown feathers gone, and lame on left leg. We moved him out into another enclosed pen by himself. Same feed noted above. He has been eating and drinking, and likes dry cat food. Yesterday, he was all hunched down, head under wing, and unsteady. We put a heat lamp in with him, thinking he might be cold(couple cold nights-20, 40 -50 during day) Not looking too sporty today, unsteady on feet. He is now standing upright under heat lamp, not as hunched down. His head is upright, but not extended like a normal bird. Ideas, opinions, or anything else? We would sure hate to los him. Antibiotic treatment, how much, anything from you experienced pea folks would be greatly appreciated.
