Help save Nashvilles historic landmark - RCAs Studio A where countless artists recorded including Waylon Jennings! savestudioa/ From Richie Albright: I have a lot of great memories and feelings attached to this recording studio, sessions here with Waylon on July 5,1966 (Nashville Rebel) and April 9,1973 (Honky Tonk Heroes) and far too many recording sessions in between to write about here. Im recording here again next month. This is the RCA Victor Nashville Sound Studio, aka RCA Studio A, and it is currently in jeopardy of being demolished by a developer wanting to build five floors of condos. If you havent heard the news, go visit the Save Studio A website, savestudioa/ and SIGN the petition. Visit their Facebook page, https://facebook/SaveStudioA Learn about the history and the many years following the RCA years, the artists who have recorded here and their songs that you are still listening to today. Ben Folds has been taking great care of this studio for the past twelve years, now called Grand Victor Sound Nashville. Chet Atkins built this studio 50 years ago, and my friend Jamey Johnson has his office/studio in Chets old office. Share this with your friends. Help save this irreplaceable recording studio and historic landmark on Music Row in Nashville. Thanks
