Help us hire! Want to be at the start of something great? We’re looking for a great web engineer / developer to join our team and start building a killer community marketplace. You will be doing whatever it takes to deliver an amazing user experience through your code. Also, you will need to start building the team that will make our growth possible. About us: We are building a global community & marketplace where artisans from developing countries can easily create personal storefronts to sell their handmade products with unique stories to people worldwide. By cutting out all middlemen, we are able to increase revenue from sales, creating positive impact. And we’re looking for just the right person to help us make this reality. You will: • Help us deliver the a great e-commerce experience which changes the way artisans sell their handmade products to people worldwide. • Work with our core team to determine how the marketplace works, feels and ultimately connects with users (... and then make it all happen in the browser) • Build a marketplace that users love using • Be part of a start-up: shape our and your future If you have a passion to build something remarkable by doing what you love and are looking to make a positive impact for people worldwide, then come and join us! What expect that you: • Will start by writing code yourself • Can dream in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for extremely dynamic and high-performance sites • Have experience developing against at least one web framework (Rails, Django, etc.) • Have experience in building great web applications (preferably E-Commerce and/or community platforms) • Deliver at the highest possible level of quality code Send us a note with your motivation, profile (LinkedIn or URL) and a link to any public projects (GitHub, site URLs, etc.) to gijsbert@4mebeta.
