Helpful article. But M.H.s conclusion is unavoidable if and only if we turn facebook on its head. Like M.H., I have strong feelings about people who dont know their history. Like M.H. I wish at times that people who arent across their history would just shut up. But they wont. Therefore its more realistic to use facebook to keep the conversation going. Rather than make strong statements, its helpful to say something like, Thats my picture of how we got here, whats yours? I hope to encourage others to do more research and engage my story, rather than risk a slanging match or whats worse; the silencing of introspective thinkers.
