Helping Link is aware of the current E. coli situation on Mercer Island. The City of Mercer Island is advising all water customers on the Island to boil their water before drinking, or to use bottled water. Dining establishments are also closed until further notice. There are no reports of illness at this time. For tonight’s Gala, Helping Link will be enforcing The City of Mercer Island’s mandate. - We will have bottled water and ice purchased from an off Island retailer - All catered food has been prepared off-site from Mercer Island - All bathrooms will have potable water and hand sanitizer brought in for use We advise our guests to stay vigilant about their health, and to only consume water specifically purchased for tonight’s event.
