Helping others does not require you to take photos of strangers - TopicsExpress

Helping others does not require you to take photos of strangers (without their consent) to then illegally and publicly shame them on social media. Only ego requires such an act. Only ego seeks to objectify others, to make a point. How sad that we live in a world where so many would think that this is a noble act. It is the opposite of noble. It is this type of behaviour that can lead an already hurt person to commit suicide, or act upon other forms of self harm. We need less I am right and more I am here for you. We need less opinions and more compassion. Compassion can work magic and still obtain results. It has time for ALL others. It isnt afraid to admit that perhaps tough love isnt always appropriate, especially when the tough far outweighs the love. It breaks my heart to see the constant infighting amongst the vegan community, but the pictures I saw today do not represent what veganism is meant to represent. As per usual, something pure and quite simple to understand, has been taken and distorted by the many different human perceptions. It has become more about labels, attitudes, body image, health & egocentric debates, rather than that of not using/exploiting animals - Humans included. I dream for more, from all of us. Myself included. Thats all I can really do. The animals dont give a shit of our opinions and our cultish rhetoric, they just want peace. Peace will not be achieved whilst humans are being non-peaceful to each other. Peace will not be understood until we learn to behave non-violently. It doesnt matter how we attempt to paint it, the truth speaks for itself. We will not see the world we really want to be a part of, until we can learn to love every single individual we see prior to judging them. We will not help people by standing behind them & pointing at their flaws. We need to face each other, head on, develop a real relationship and communicate effectively, with kindness. Yes, you can be honest & kind at the same time. Yes, you can be frank and kind at the same time as well. There is no need to be passive aggressive, sneaky, manipulative, insulting or play on the weaknesses or fears of anyone.
