Henrys Thursday evening update 1-22-15: Henry started with a pretty good day. Numbers all looked good but he was still running a slight fever. Around noon they moved us from the 5th floor ICU to the 7th floor ICU. The 5th floor ICU is for transplant patients and ecmo patients. The 7th floor ICU is called the surgical ICU. This is where we first started when Henry came out of surgery. This is the best I understand it and can explain it. After the move Henry had to have his ventilator settings upped back to 100 percent again. And around 5:00pm his blood pressure started to increase. At 6:30pm his blood pressure had began to drop. At this time we were asked to leave for shift change. Being this is where and how it all started before Thanksgiving we are a little anxious and nervous. We want be able to go back to see him till 8:30pm. And it just seemed like they didnt want to listen to us. We have come to far so we are hoping and praying they communicate with the 5th floor ICU staff since they did such a great job and figured out all of Henrys little quirks because he is not the typical patient. Please keep praying for Henrys lungs to get better and stronger. And pray for guidance of the ICU staff.
