Hepatitis C look back exercise commences Following identification of a retired healthcare worker with Hepatitis C, a small number of women in England are being contacted and offered a test bit.ly/17Z8jMP The healthcare worker had worked in obstetrics and gynaecology at 11 hospitals in England in the 1970s and 1980s. Dr Paul Cosford @PHEuk said: “The risk of infection is very small and we are offering testing purely as a precaution”.
