Over the mountain and over the sea Aeroplane Aeroplane you want to take me? Every day Simi leaves school in a hurry. She ignores the rebukes, the rules are blurry. She has to be at home. It’s time. It’s 4. That giant piece of metal up over the sea Aeroplane Aeroplane you want to take me? Slowly the priorities move next door. Little Simi is no little any more. Being with him from 4 to 7 matters. Laugh and cries, she kills all desires. She takes the 7 steps like everyone else. Time travels fast, she stays motionless. Faces around - a source of borrowed happiness. Some days she cries in a packed mini bus. Trapped in a world of love, duty and ‘us’. She grips the point of that metal over the sea. Aeroplane Aeroplane you didnt take me. She finds herself over that terrace with a sigh. Watching her successor also looking up the sky. She follows her like a voyager who finds her way. We all have to leave someday. The secrets and accomplishments - leaving our part. First the wealth, then the body and finally that heart. Simi looks up again. It’s 4. It’s time. Simi isnt afraid any more to rhyme.
