Her name was Henrietta Schultz, and if she was telling the truth, - TopicsExpress

Her name was Henrietta Schultz, and if she was telling the truth, she was over three hundred years old, having escaped the infamous trials of Bamberg in the early sixteen hundreds. Something she accomplished by entering another dimension, and appearing in Lemont in the early nineteen hundreds. She was feared as well as respected by the mostly German community of Lemont. There were some things a good catholic or Lutheran man of God just couldn’t accomplish. It was here that Henrietta excelled. I quickly passed Monk’s Castle and hung a left jumping on to route 83 and then right on to Main Street and headed down towards the heart of downtown Lemont. Main followed the tracks which the downtown area had been built alongside. The down town area was nestled at the bottom of the many hills that the workers had built houses along. It was picturesque if that was what one was in to. The many steeples of the churches that dotted the horizon, I was a bit biased as my relations with heaven and earth were somewhat skewed. I came to Stephen Street and the entrance to the downtown area and hung a right, and crossing the tracks made a quick left on to Canal Street. Henrietta kept a small apartment, office combo right over the Anchor Bar. It was a rough and tumble place where the men who still worked along the canal could drink their cheap whiskey and find good enough company. Allie Hanley I can however give you the three paragraphs I have just finished, as they give away nothing on the main character :-)
