Herald Sun Aria As Chief Adjudicator of this competition, which attracted nearly 50 singers, I would like to say how impressed I was with the professionalism and preparation of all the singers who entered. Reducing this mass of vocal talent to only six finalists was what was required by the competition. The survivors are Stephanie Gibson, Nicholas Jones, Nathan Lay, Stacey Alleaune, Jade Moffat and Samuel Sakker. May the Force be with you. Congratulations to all who entered for your talent, presentation and dedication. To the six finalists I extend my congratulations and admiration. I do look forward to 1 October at Hamer Hall when we and all of Melbourne will have the pleasure of hearing you sing with orchestra.
