Herbs are on my mind....which ones are safe and helpful for use in animals, dogs and cats. How to administer them, how much to give them, what form to give them how to adjust for health issues and when to call in a professional.....that is what we will be covering at the next installment of Natural Medicine for Animals-Herbal Medicine for Animals at ASHH Appalachia School of Holistic Herbalism next Thursday evening. We will be getting foundational information on where to go for those recipes for medicine balls/treats/foods for our animals and employ the green folk to help us help them. We also dont want to do harm so knowing the plants that are not safe for our pets, especially cats will help us safely employ natural medicine. Garlic, Rosemary are but a few that have cautionary tales to tell. Also, great references for how to make the medicines from scratch. We choose natural medicines over a plate full of pills!
