Here I am, a trouble maker stirring minds to think for themselves . . . using the Bible for THE ROAD MAP! A great awakening occurred on the Day of Pentecost! The disciples turned the world upside down in just a few years! But Jesus, and the apostles, spoke of a Great Falling Away! Paul forewarned of pernicious doctrines creeping in and in some instances, taking over! Did anyone ever hear of Constantine, Henry VIII, King James, Richard Bancroft or John Darby? Several serious scholars share history as it is preserved and it proves that some of these dudes rewrote the scriptures to serve agendas! God’s Word, AS ORIGINALLY PENNED was just that, it WAS as we carefully are noting the emphasis; it WAS HIS UNFLAWED MESSAGE to A LOST, and SPIRITUALLY DEAD, world! Nevertheless, REVISIONERS have EDITED to suit, given, agendas. There have been, and still are, many of these . . . as we shall see! We say another way, truth twisted, or eliminated, will never cease until angels declare, “TIME WILL BE NO MORE!” We must go back to the recounting of early times and with that we are required to report, HUGE SHADES OF MEANING ARE LOST, OR TWISTED, in the translation from Hebrew and Greek, to Latin, and then into English! Some, or most, of that was tee totally on purpose! For heavens sake the Bible was locked up in Latin for centuries and when godly men tried to put the scriptures in the common tongue, many were persecuted, some were executed for trying to provide a Bible you and I could actually read! Some are going to rise up in anger when we declare, the Latin ESPECIALLY, but most English renditions FAIL TO SAY ALL OF WHAT IS WRITTEN IN THE ARAMAIC, HEBREW, AND GREEK. Because more than translation took place, editing was a definite fact! Because of that, we find a Hodgepodge of diverse and conflicting doctrines today! Is it okay, that a figurative, zillion ideas are offered, concerning various biblical subjects! We have those that preach eternal security, and then those which declare salvation can be lost! God is dead, came out of a cemetery, umm seminary! Concerning this thing called the Rapture; some say pre-tribulation, others are sure it will be in the middle of the seven years, and still another camp is certain the Rapture will be concurrent with the Second Coming! That would be when Jesus plants His feet on the Mount of Olives. Then He will kick the stuffing out of the devil and his crowd! But there is more, one fellow is sure those that those which believe differently than he does, concerning the rapture, has entered into apostasy! And guess what! There are a number that assert THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST does not belong in our Bibles! I find the foregoing interesting because apostasy implies someone HAS RENOUNCED the faith! Dear heart if a person has washed himself in the Blood he is right in his heart even if his head is mixed up! But everyone should follow on to know The Lord in a deeper and better way! Some do and some do not! For the moment consider Missus Lot! She walked out of Sodom but she looked back! She did not want to give up what she was leaving behind! Regardless, everyone has their own slant on these instances because someone taught something! And all too often when we are offered bait, we swallow it, hook, line, and sinker! Two or three million souls walked out of Egypt. They passed THROUGH THE BLOOD. God declared, “WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD I WILL PASSOVER YOU!” But Joshua and Caleb were the only ones that entered Canaan! Do not tell me the whole crowd was never saved . . . from slavery and Pharaoh! Achan was a Levite, and a real, honest to goodness, priest! Real all about him . . . use your concordance! Paul had something to say about Demas. He also foretold apostasy! Recall what that means! Read this verse in three translations! It is 1st Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; KJV The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. NIV Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. New Living Translation Logic says one cannot leave New York City until you get there . . . never mind! Look at it this way, a person cannot jump ship until he boards the vessel. I’d rather err on the side of safety! Stay as far away from offending God as you can! That seems like a good idea to me! Lastly, we “RELIGIOUS FOLK” like to think we are right on in every respect! Paul said something about the Noble folk from Berea. Do what they did! You might have heard some little thing at it might be slightly off or grossly far afield! One nut case asserts his blood is as good as that of Jesus for cleansing sin! Phooey! Incidentally, the Book, which contains the above mentioned spread, is GOD’S UPDATE, for the descendants of folks that threw the knowledge of Him away! In too many cases it may have happened again, repeatedly! But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 2nd Peter 2:1-3 KJV Then take 2nd Peter 3:14-18 to heart! Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness. 18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. KJV
