Here I am out in Bismarck, with Ms. Margaret Campbell.. following around the legendary Theodora Bird Bear and Joletta Birdbear sisters. Its amazing how North Dakota regulatory authorities look at public health. They are considering upping the radiation levels by a factor of ten to accommodate the fracking industry. Now, we all know that there is no safe level of exposure to radiation, so why would we be doing that... Sort of stumbled on the hearing for sure. And do want to say that Im a bit relieved to be leaving Bismarck, after all that Glendive Montana oil spill of 50,000 gallons will be hitting Bismarcks water intake sites tomorrow morning, but I will be gone. Ive got water from my well on Round Lake, and am thankful I can still drink that water.. North Dakota, you all better speak up on this... for more than a few reasons, and the rest of us, take a good look and oppose it for North Dakota, the water in that state does not stay there, it flows into the Mississippi .. or into the Red.... and we will want to be sure that the bio accumulation of radiation doesnt come with it. North Dakota s Department of Health cant even regulate the present state of contamination.
