Here I am...still up at 1am...Patty is resting comfortably tonight...The clock is ticking for her treatment...She has such a short time to get stronger and it is such a huge hill to climb...I have buried 2 people this year who were very dear to me...Ruth Ann Sinnett and then 6 weeks later my dear mother...Exactly 1 month to the day that mom passed Patty had her 1st stroke...In the mean time another dear lady from our church had surgery and a week later as she is getting ready to go home she has a pretty bad stroke...I went to see her again today...A dear friend of mine passed earlier this summer...Pastor Roger Barnes and another fights a battle today with cancer...I have a couple friends whose father passed this summer also...A young man from one of my bowling leagues died suddenly yesterday....This seems to have been a summer of suffering and death...It will pass but it will be a tough summer to forget...Love those around you and cherish your time with them...You never know!...I as always will survive as God will continue to guide my steps and comfort me but I have learned not to take another day or another person for granted...Thanks for listening!...Be Blessed!
