Then, would he accept to be called ‘God’? 2] *** Jesus (pbuh) remarked: “I do nothing of myself, but as the Father taught me, I speak these things.” (John 8:28) ‘My doctrine is not mine, but His who sent me.’” (John 7:16) “For I have not spoken on my own authority; but the Father who sent me gave me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.” (John 12:49) Again, he states that the words he speaks are not his, but revealed to him as a prophet sent by God. 3] *** Jesus (pbuh) remarked: The Day and Hour Unknown “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. (Matthew 24:36) Jesus again affirms his inability even in not knowing the Final Hour of this World. Just imagine. A true God will never do so.
