Here are a couple of the Hase Lepus with the lowered boom. As many - TopicsExpress

Here are a couple of the Hase Lepus with the lowered boom. As many of you know the Lepus is the Folding Trike from Hase. The third picture is my personal Hase Lepus, with my wifes Hase Kettwiesel hooked in Tandem to it, and my Burley Tail Wagon Trailer. I actually bought the Trailer to haul my dogs but I also have used it on tour. I actually took it earlier this year when I went down Natchaz Trace Parkway. You can also see my Panniers on the front of my Lepus. Just click on the pictures to make them bigger. The Lepus comes with the straight Boom with the 20 inch wheel or the Lowered boom with a smaller 16 front wheel. The smaller front wheel and the lowered front boom makes it easier for people who might have trouble mounting to step over the boom. From what I understand there is an available E-Pedal Assist Motor for this rear suspended trike which is something I might consider for mine after riding several different e-assisted trikes at the show. E-assist only works when you start pedaling and I have been on the fence about it, but I think its easy to be swayed once you start riding one LOL! I think I will probably stay on fence as far as the e-assist motor goes for now. I can see where it could extend my trike riding in the future and be very useful on tour but on the other hand does it defeat the purpose of my riding?
