Here are a few of Christys Quail . . . Christy is raising Georgia Giant Quail . . . way back in the early 80s, we raised a few quail. To provide healthy food for the family, Christy is raising quail again. These little birds are 24 hours (or less) old. They were transferred from the incubator to the brooder this evening. The first one hatched last night at 8:30. They are fun to watch . . . they run, run, run . . . and then they fall over and get a power nap . . . and then they do it all over again. This brooder will be their home for the next 10 days . . . maybe I can get a few more pictures to chronicle their growth. We will see . . . Some of the eggs that arent yet hatched in the incubator . . . I can hear the baby quail chirping inside.
