Here are a series of anomaly graphs from North Queensland that prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the Anomaly map doing the media rounds that depict June warming is in error. The map from NOAA clearly shows the area bounded by the stations I charted to be showing an anomaly of between 1 and 1.5 C. and the Graphs clearly show 6 of the 8 stations in the region have virtually no warming. The actual warming is not 1-1.5 but in fact is in the range of 0-0.5. The actual anomaly reading for the region excluding Longreach is more likely to be less than 0.5. As shown in the graph below. You can see all the stations are in broad agreement with each other, Charleville being the slight oddity and by far showing the warmest June anomaly.
