Here are four selections from this years Benefit Auction of Miniatures: Rob Akeys Bright Glacier Morning, Vernon Andersons Big Fork Farm, Dana Berardinis Cyclone Lookout and Cindy Betkas Strut. You could be the proud owner of one or all of these works if you have the winning bid(s)! The 13th Annual Miniatures exhibition and silent auction fundraiser is May 1-17, 2014. The exhibit features sixty juried works no larger than 9” x 12” created specifically for the Miniatures Auction by renowned Montana artists. Postcard-sized 4” x 6” Miniatures are also offered during the auction. All 60 of the 9” x 12” sized juried original works may be viewed online here: on.fb.me/1hel1NB Bid by phoning the Museum at 406-755-5268. See The Exhibit - Free Admission A free opening reception will be held Thursday, May 8, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Museum so that everyone may come see their favorites in person. Taste This! Flathead will offer an array of tantalizing delights to complement the Hockadays regular hospitality. Seal The Bid - And Win! On Saturday, May 17, beginning at 10:00 AM, be admitted free of charge to finalize your bids and win your favorite pieces. Bidding closes at 4:00 PM that day when the exhibition ends.
