Here are my two cents based on personal experience... When being confronted with someone who holds a weapon, and who may or not be authorized to use that weapon against you, stay calm and speak your way through the problem. I was once on the ground, face down with a machine gun pointed at my head (in Italy when I was about 15) because I looked like someone the Carabinieri were searching for. Clearly a man that looked like me. I complied with all requests, showed all proper documents, didnt argue, explained my position, and lived to play my bass, write music, have two boys of my own and run ShapeShifter Lab, amongst other things. I understand the frustration, but do NOT provoke these law enforcement folks. Theres already something wrong and unstable with (many of them) *CORRECTION A Few of Them, mainly due to the stress involved in their profession. Live another day and fight them through peaceful protest and legal action.
