Here are several ways how you can deal with frustration head on. 1 Accept reality Yes it happened and if we could all turn the hands of time, everything would be picture perfect but honey, that’s not how life is… Yes, something bad happened. Don’t spend your entire life imagining how better your life would be if only you had taken a different career choice, or you hadn’t made that stupid mistake. This is it. It is frustrating, no doubt about it, but rejecting this reality will not lower the frustration, on the contrary, will make it stronger and stronger. Accept reality. 2. It’s time to stop blaming yourself. So what, you did something really wrong, and your current situation is the result of that mistake. Take responsibility but don’t blame yourself. What good will that do you? It’s all in the past. You’re in the present now and you can do something about it. Blame will only put weight on that past and drag you down. Avoid it like a plague. 3.Quit blaming others Just like you are not going to cast blame on yourself, don’t go laying it on other people. This is what most of us do…if it wasn’t for my parents I would have taken a different course…if it wasn’t for that guy or girl my life wouldn’t be such a mess..well, you know what? That is not not going to solve anything. Too much energy lost blaming other people…It’s time to move on. Although it may seem like a relief, blaming others it’s just a temporary hack, it won’t last. 4. Surround Yourself with People Who’ve Done It What are you trying to do with your life but always hitting that frustration wall? Chances are there are people who have succeeded in that very same thing. The only way to do that is to be immersed in people who have succeeded in the path you are now going through. You need to believe it’s possible. Not only will their great ideas for success rub off on you, you will be able to face the frustration barrier knowing that, at one point, it will get easier.. 5.Have a ‘This too shall pass’ attitude. As they say, nothing lasts forever…neither do our problems. Laughter and sadness, joy and depression, everything will fade away in time. The same will happen to this frustrating period too: it will
