Here are some general pet safety tips for keeping our furry friends safe: Don’t let your dog ride in an open truck bed. Keep your pet’s head and paws inside the car at all times. Check your pet’s collar regularly and always make sure to have your pets identification tags attached to their collar or harness. If you have a puppy never leave them unattended except in their crate. They are too prone to eating things that would harm them. When you put your puppy in their crate always remove their collar first so their is no risk of entanglement. When you have your puppy out of the crate watch them carefully to make sure they do not eat things they shouldn’t. Don’t let your cat play with string. Keep your cat indoors. There are too many hazards they cannot defend themselves against, and indoor/outdoor cats tend to have shorter lifespans than cats who are kept indoors.
