Here are some of the numbers and referrals I received after contacting the White House. If you or your loved ones ever need help, hopefully you can find this of service. There is a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration on the Federal level. They operate a 24 hour treatment locator help line to offer assistance anywhere in the nation. 1-800-662-HELP (4357). It also has a website find treatment.samhsa.gov. If you know of abuse and neglect in the system like we have seen, there is a Protection and Advocacy Agency for Persons with Mental Illness in Texas (they will be hearing from me on Monday). They advocate for individuals rights in a corrupt system. There number is 1-800-252-9108. DisabilityRightsTx.org. This awesome letter also told me about an incredible organization that I am already following on FB. They are great. National Alliance for Mental Illness 1-800-633-3766. The website for Tx is namitexas.org. So impressed with this letter. Very very helpful. Hope it is for you my friends as well.
