Here are some photos from the unearthing of the time capsule at the Court House. If you havent heard yet, the second photo says it all: Unfortunately, the vault apparently did not seal when it was buried, and the bottom of it was full of water. The letters have been salvaged and are now being dried. Unfortunately, they will not be ready for distribution on Saturday. The committee was not sure when they would be distributed the last we heard. The good news is that information from the previous time capsule (so it was 50 years old rather than 25 years old like the letters) had been placed in a metal box, which kept it dry. Thats what Dave Isringhausen is opening in the last photo.
