Here are some things you can do to help us fundraise: -Share on the social networks. We need to take advantage of sites like Facebook and Twitter that let us post something a lot of people will see. By sharing our campaign on Facebook gofundme/SaveKimberAndSimba you make it possible that your friends share with their friends and so on. The more people who know about Kimber and Simba the more help well receive. -Blogs and magazines. If you do or know someone who has a blog, Facebook page, local/school/university magazine, or anything that could help us spread the word and get more people to help us, you can send them an email and ask them to write about Kimber and Simbas story. We would be happy to answer their questions too if they want to talk to us. -Public places and stores. If you do or know someone that works at a veterinary clinic/animal hospital, store, or even an office, you would be doing us a great favor if you could get them to tell Kimber and Simbas story or have a flyer to show their customers. Perhaps that sounds like a lot of work, but it could be as simple as asking your friend who works at a store to have a flyer so people can know about these animals. Last year, for example, a family took their dog to the vet and found out she needed surgery, so with the vets permission they had a flyer on the counter and customers saw it every time they walked into the store. The ones who wanted to help donated money to the vet, who put it aside for the dog. Within a few days, they had covered the full cost of the surgery. Of course, we dont want you or your friend to get in trouble with your/their boss, so make sure you have the green light if you do this. Maybe the next time you take your pet to the vet you want to ask her/him if they want to have a piggy bank or moneybox for Kimber and Simba. -Recruit Volunteers. If you have free hours per week you would like to use to help Kimber and Simba, you can organize a local volunteer group. You can recruit people who feel passionate about this cause too, and you can raise awareness on animal cruelty and fundraise together. Ask your friends, relatives, neighbors, coworkers, or classmates if they want to join your group. Together you can organize meeting and ask people to support Kimber and Simba, talk in their behalf in public places, the local vet clinic or anywhere you can. You can think lots of funny and creative ways to ask people to support you and educate at the same time. For example, how much fun would it be if you and your little ones dressed in white (for Kimber and Simba) and went around the neighborhood with a piggy box explaining why it is important we respect animals and stand against animal cruelty. Or, if you are at university, you could go around campus telling Kimber and Simbas story or could organize something fun with your friends to attract people attention and raise awareness, or tell your school group to support you and your furry friends. -Organize a fundraiser! If you love gatherings, then host an Animal Welfare fundraiser and invite everyone you want! You can talk about animal cruelty and rights, explain why it is important children learn from a young age to respect animals, and ask your guests to donate. Maybe they can donate because you cooked spaghetti, or maybe because you and your family organized a fun but informative talk. -Organize an auction! If you do or know anyone who would like to donate for a worthy cause, then organize an auction at your house or online to raise funds for Kimber and Simba. People can bid on lots of different items and learn about animal rights at the same time. These are just some of the many things you can do to help us raise the funds needed to save Kimber and Simba and friends. If you come up with any other ideas, let us know and Well include them here. We want everyone to help even if you are not able to donate. We hope you find this post useful and join us :)
