Here are some thoughts from the last few weeks of Sports! 1. Is it me or has it been kind of nice not having to talk about Kobe this first month of the NBA Season. I was a little nervous, but it appears the league will go on without him. Plus, with Steph Curry, Paul George and Anthony Davis the future looks bright. King James! 2. If I hear one more person say Drew Brees isnt tough...he didnt throw the flag...in fact he took the hit, got up with blood in his mouth and Finished the 49ers off with the second chance he was given. Bet you $10 if it was Brady or Manning in that situation a) Brooks would be suspended and people would be after him b) they would be calling them Gods and all kinds of superlatives for gutting out a victory Just saying! 3. Is anyone else getting excited for World Cup...we (USA) look good for a change and might make some noise. 4. I really hope the Winston kid at FSU didnt do anything stupid. I will bet the farm that the, thin line between love and hate with be crossed super quick. He wont get the leeway the Manzels and Big Bens of the worlds get! 5. Last but not least, Aaron Rodgers and I both suffered a broken collar bone. As great as I feel and know that I would want to play. I hope he takes his time getting back. I need them to not make the playoffs so I can talk crap to Nathan Koehn! At the beginging of the year I told him that the Saints would win it all and the Packers wouldnt make the Playoffs! The last time we had a convo like that in 2009...lets just say I was Right! :P
