Here are some tips to enjoy this holiday weekend! 1. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Yep, go on and fill that Big Gulp cup you are holding with water and guzzle that baby like there’s no tomorrow. At the minimum you should be chugging 64 oz of water per day, even on a holiday weekend. Your goal should be half your weight in ounces of water. 2. Squeeze in some fitness, ANY fitness. You don’t have to go all crazy with the exercising, but at the very least, DO SOMETHING. Take a walk, break out a 30 minute DVD, go for a bike ride, play freeze tag with your kids, etc. The important thing here is to get moving. 3. Put down the seconds and thirds of any and all food portions at the family BBQ. Yeah, I know it’s hard to say NO to your favorite foods when they make an appearance on the picnic table. Take a little bit and then walk away…..and DON’T come back for more. 4. Decide which treats are most important to you, splurge on those and avoid the others! You CAN enjoy the food of the holiday, just dont enjoy every single one of them! Pick your favorites. #betransformed
