At the gym yesterday I was listening to the very famous Rolling Stones song I CANT GET NO SATISFACTION and I try and I try and I try and I and I TRY I cant get no, no no no! Is Mick Jagger right dear ones? For many he is, and for many he is not! This reminds me of how many people live in a constant state of a hunger for more. If I could just get more! I will be happy! I truly wonder sometimes how many people are going to have to drive over the MONEY DOESNT MAKE ME HAPPY cliff before they figure out this AWESOME truth. See dear ones Contentment is where real satisfaction comes from in life! Content in what I have. Psalm 62:10 says, “If riches increase, set not your heart on them.” See, Happiness is not in the having, it’s in the acceptance of what God has given you! Content in whom I’m with. “I wish my wife/girlfriend was a little more! If my husband/boyfriend would just change .” Sure dear ones you can always focus on The negative and be miserable if you want, or you can choose to concentrate on the GOOD! Like Scripture teaches us! Read Philippians 4:8 to discover REAL JOY! Content in whose you are. How about this WONDERFUL promise in Hebrews 13:5: “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’” Please know that God is always for you having money and making money is just fine fact we should just dont make it your number one above all everything a priority! So can you truly be content all the time? Do you want to know how you can The content? Paul lets us in on a huge secret! “I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need, SHHHHH here’s the secret dear ones!!! Tim Tebow wore it under his eyes in football, he along with many millions of others have learned the secret to life I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”(Philippians 4:12-13). Through Christ! That is truly the key to contentment and satisfaction in the Christian life, it is Jesus living His life through us!
