Here are some words from one of the founders of the organization I posted about yesterday, better explaining what reweave is all about and why you should probably definitely check it out: reweave was started by students in the basement of the library at Northeastern University - students passionate about making a difference. Our organization is pushing forward a movement to inspire people and social enterprises to be better, together. We help projects from all around the world maximize through our social impact network. We then get projects to collaborate with one another; people helping people help people. We also help give our projects the business and product development the need; we even have internships set up so we can visit our projects and measure their impact. We are not just another service provider or marketplace for social enterprises. We sell our projects products, but we are also working to reshape the way our world thinks about building businesses – we want to build and support businesses that can truly change our world, for good. To learn more about what we’re doing and why, check out reweave.org. Also check out our indiegogo campaign - a campaign for reweave to raise the money needed to become a nonprofit and have the resources necessary to invest in our projects. I have personally made a pledge to match every dollar that is donated by a friend (or a friend of a friend!) up to $500! indiegogo/projects/be-better-reweave We’re all do good, but together we can be better.
