Here are the Facts .....That when this country takes away the programs that are designed to enrich each community with the programs like the arts ....it leaves a void ... And with that every child is growing up with little less hope for their life... these are the struggles that left its wounds deeply felt. I cant believe that corporations that operate business that make such fortunes and dont invest back this is what happens. When the governments only answer is just go to school and get an education and get a job.... this the answer... This is not just a race revolt ...this is an economic effect of failure to bring forward opportunities that lead to gainful employment. Kids today instead of reading a book , they get information from here on the only source that feeds their hate of one self. Theyd rather smoke a blunt and walk down the street and disrespect the community and even themselves. When they need attention they are some times forced to do the craziest things .... and dare you to say any thing to them . The school system has failed to continue the efforts because of budget cuts ...and where do those budget cuts start, The Arts ...the decay of any civilization starts with removal of the creativeness of its society. Look through history when the fall of Rome started it was the arts which represent the beliefs. Every fall of any nation started with the destruction of the very DNA of its people. Theres most be something more than that knowledge of Blunts and Booty shaken to Black people. But,the removal of the Arts programs, we have an ignorant society before us. And the irony of it all is this .... I worked in prisons and found that an artist gets big respect in the lock up ... The answers to this are simple, Artist bring things to life even if there are disagreement. We create our own reality and absorb the serenity of taking spiting out what we feel inside. Obviously I dont expect any of this to change ....I only hope so....PeAce
